AutocarbonX began with a desire to give future generations a cleaner environment in which to live. The founders not only want to reduce harmful carbon emissions, but take their collective knowledge, experience, and energy, and help educate individuals and industry on how we all can improve environmental conditions. At autocarbonX we want our "footprints" to lead others in the fight against global warming.

There are other organizations selling carbon offsets to various market groups. While these efforts are noble, most "green" organizations seem to be passively going about the business of trying to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions without any new or "additional" initiatives. AutocarbonX will aggressively pursue industry and individuals with the express purpose of funding projects in the areas of:

1.) Fossil fuel displacement
2.) Increasing energy efficiency.
3.) Forestation and reforestation.
4.) Public awareness and education.

AutocarbonX will be working with manufacturers, with an emphasis in the automotive industry, to provide individual consumers with a way to purchase an appropriate carbon offset during a retail transaction. For example, while purchasing an automobile a environmentally conscience consumer wishes to neutralize the vehicle's harmful GHG'S. After calculating the vehicles CO2 emissions, AutocarbonX can provide consumers like this an effective mechanism for offsetting the automobile's carbon emissions.
